Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Call My Santa, a service run by Henri Rujala, Finland ("we"). By signing in or buying calls you agree to them. They are written to be readable; if anything is unclear, email us.
What the service is
Call My Santa lets a child talk with Santa Claus or one of his elves in a live voice call in the web browser. The characters' voices and words are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini), guided by our instructions and safety rules and by the details you give before the call. No real person is on the line.
Calls are entertainment for families. The characters can make mistakes. Nothing they say is a promise of a present, a fact you should rely on, or advice of any kind.
Who can use it
Accounts are for adults (18 or over). A child may only use the service with a parent or guardian who set up the call and stays nearby during it.
You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for calls made from your account.
Buying calls
Calls are sold in packs (for example one Santa call, or seven elf calls). Prices are shown before checkout and include VAT where it applies.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (the seller) for the purchase, collects the payment and handles VAT. Stripe's own terms also apply to the payment.
Calls you buy are added to your account straight away and can be used until 31 January of the following year. Each call uses one call from your pack when it connects.
Refunds and your right to cancel
If a call breaks off in its first seconds because of a technical problem, the call is given back to your account automatically (a couple of times a day).
Unused calls: you can ask for a refund of a pack you have not used within 14 days of buying it. Email us and we will arrange it through Stripe.
Because calls are digital content delivered immediately, the 14-day right to cancel ends for a call once it has been used. We will still look kindly at any call that went wrong: just tell us what happened.
Fair use
To keep calls safe and the service affordable, there are daily limits (for example a few Santa calls and one elf call per day per account, and a few free previews).
Do not try to misuse the service: to make the characters say harmful things, to get around limits or payments, to scrape or overload it, or to use it for anything other than calls with children and families. We may pause accounts that do, and we may refuse calls when the North Pole line is very busy.
Availability
We work hard to keep the line open, especially in December, but the service depends on the internet and on other companies (Google, Stripe and others) and may sometimes be unavailable. We may change or improve the service, and if we ever stop it, we will refund unused calls.
Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for indirect losses, or for problems caused by your device, connection or things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.
Contact and law
